Beach Date Night
Friday night date nights with Chad are my absolute favorite! It is something I look forward to each week, and we always have a blast no matter what we do. We usually go to the Fairhope/Daphne/Malbis area because we love it over in Baldwin County.
Since we both get off earlier on Fridays, we decided to ride over to Gulf Shores to have a nice dinner. Thankfully we didn't hit any traffic on the way there, which is a miracle for a Friday afternoon, haha. We had awesome conversations on the way over there; any time we ride in the car with each other for an extended period of time, it's always pretty entertaining. :)
We decided to eat at Cobalt, which is right off the Perdido Pass bridge (really close to the Caribe). We had a couple recommendations for it, so we decided to give it a try. It was beautiful on the inside, but we decided to eat outside since it turned out to be a fairly pretty afternoon (a little cloudy, but at least it wasn't too terribly hot).

We had a nice view of all the boats coming in from the gulf.
We heard great reviews about the crab dip as an appetizer, so we had to try it out... delish!
Chad decided to get the red fish with rice. He loved it!
I got the grilled shrimp with grits and a corn dressing-type thing. So good!
Chad made fun of my organized to-go box, haha.

After our awesome dinner, we headed to the beach to relax for a while.
And of course we had a photo shoot... :)
And then Chad said, "No more pictures!!"
(Too bad, Chaddy, hehe!)

After enjoying looking at the water and beautiful sunset,
we decided to hit up the arcade! Woo!
(Chad keeps a container full of change in his truck, so we had PLENTY of quarters to spend.)
Arrived at Adventure Island (Chad and I were WAY too excited to play some arcade games!)
We started off with our favorite, air hockey! (Chad won like always :/ lol)

One hour and $11.00 worth of quarters later, we won 271 tickets! Oh yeah! LOL :)

Worth $11.00? Ehh, no (haha).
But what was worth it was an awesome time playing games with my sweet guy!

Friday night date nights are the best!
So thankful for a sweet guy who loves yummy food, the beach, and arcade games just like me. :)
