I'm Claire, the girl behind the blog!


First and foremost, I love the Lord with all of my heart. He has blessed my life beyond my wildest dreams, and I strive to live each day for His glory and His kingdom. 


I am a proud wife! My amazing husband and I were married on April 4, 2015, and we are absolutely loving married life. We are actually high school sweethearts and began dating our sophomore year at a young 15 years old. We have been together ever since and couldn’t imagine life any other way. I have loved growing up both physically and spiritually with him, and we cannot wait to see what awesome plans the Lord has in store for our future together.


This precious man builds me up in the Lord, prays with and for me, and is the spiritual head of our household. Plus, he's incredibly handsome if I do say so myself! He is a mechanical engineer and is one of the smartest, kindest, and most generous people I know. Meet my sweet man, Chad.


Here are a few fun facts about me:
I'm a 7th grade English teacher at my alma mater, and I adore living out my calling there.
I coach varsity volleyball! It's seriously my biggest passion.
Chad and I love to travel!
Some of our favorites include Alaska, Colorado, Montana, New York, & several Caribbean islands.
The beach is probably my favorite place on earth to be.
We attend South Coast Church and LOVE it!
We serve on and help lead the prayer team there. 
We adore playing with and spoiling our three nieces and one nephew.  
I’m a total family gal. 
I love spending time with both immediate and extended family as much as possible. 
I'm pretty obsessed with organization and planning.
I love sweets; chocolate icecream is my favorite.
I like to work out (to balance that sweet tooth).
I'm slightly extremely competitive. At everything.
Summertime is my absolute favorite. Fall brings in a close second.
Christmas and Easter are my favorite holidays.
I love going to the movies. I'm definitely a romantic at heart.
I love shopping. TJ Maxx is my fav. 
I love to read and write.
I love Christian music.

Have any of you ever thought to yourself or even said to a friend, "Man, this is a dark world we live in, huh?" I know I sure have, and the older I get, the more I realize that this a pretty messed world around us. The Day My Heart Exploded

Today was one of the greatest days ever, my sweet friends. I want to share with you about our chapel service at Faith that was so incredibly beautiful, overwhelmingly amazing, heart-touching, and Spirit-driven. For a couple of months now, Coach Skoda (whom I love with my whole heart) kept telling me that soon we would have a “split” chapel service where the boys would have their own service, and the girls would have their own service. He asked me if I would be willing to speak to the precious 7th-12th girls of Faith during that service and asked me to speak from the heart (from where the Lord was leading). And, he told me the overall theme would be about being God's princesses. Of course I agreed and was super excited to share my heart, but little did I know how HUGE of an impact this service and these girls would have on my life. Weekend Getaway Trip

I don't know about y'all, but I had a FABULOUS weekend! My best friend Chelsea so graciously invited me to stay with her and her family at the beach, so of course I so graciously accepted her invitation, hehe. We stayed at Phoenix VI in Orange Beach, and boy, what a beautiful weekend we had there!  Join me on our journey throughout the weekend... Side note: Chad and my cousin Cole stayed with our friend Josh and his family most of the weekend, too. Their condo was about five minutes from ours.  Friday: After Chad got off work Friday afternoon, he, Cole, and I packed up and headed towards the gulf. We stopped at the Pita Pit downtown for a late lunch (it was delish!!). We arrived at Josh's condo around 5:00! Here's Josh modeling his new tank he purchased at the outlets, haha.  After hanging out with Josh's family for a few, we all decided to go to dinner.
